Danish Cord Coiling on a Gourd

This fun class is taught by Chris Peters, a member of the Idaho Gourd Society.  You will learn how to coil on a gourd bowl.  Coiling is a simple basket weaving technique.  There are just two stitches and techniques to learn.  All supplies and tools are provided, which include genuine Danish cord, four-ply waxed linen thread, a needle, and a gourd bowl, fully prepared and ready to weave. The cord is dyed to match the gourd.  This easy and relaxing project is held on the first day of the Idaho Gourd Festival.
